Our bow staves are cut from Red Oak backed with linen and are 72 inches long by 1.5 inches wide by 3/4 inch thick. They are floor tillered with a round belly and are suitable for making an English longbow 45 to 50 pounds. These are not finished bows and require a knowledge of bowmaking to complete.
